Where is Ponthos TOTK Lost in the Dunes

Tears of the Kingdom Lost in the Dunes Ponthos Location

The location of Ponthos in the Zelda TOTK or Tears of the Kingdom Lost in the Dunes quest is actually underground. However, he’s not in the Underground Depths. No, Ponthos is just under the sands, so to speak. How do you get to him? Well, you’ll need to go to these coordinates in the desert: -3355, -2676, 0029. Once you get there, you’ll see a large sand vortex. Hop in and don’t worry, it’s safe. After a brief cutscene, you’ll find yourself in the Oasis Source. Head up the slope, and boom, there’s Ponthos. His exact coordinates are -3337, -2677, 0005. Talk to him, then walk up the stream until you find the breakable rock wall. Bust it open, then talk to Ponthos again.

After you manage to rescue him, go back to the Kara Kara Bazaar and talk to the rest of the caravan. They’re at these coordinates: -3270, -2580, 0023.
